Scientific software
These are some programs that I wrote as a biomedical researcher. They are mainly used to read data from some instruments. They are unmaintained, but feel free to use them at no cost if you happen to have an instrument they work with:
A Unix command line tool to analyze the amino acid composition of protein sequences.
A 16-bit Windows program to convert Medline bibliographic data into Reference Manager format. This filter now has a bright future as part of the RefDB package.
A 16-bit Windows program to retrieve data from a Packard Tricarb-1600 beta counter.
A 16-bit Windows program to control a Uvikon 860 spectrophotometer through a PC.
