Use the serial cable described in the serial cable specification section to connect the serial port of Tricarb 1600 with a free serial port on your computer. If desired, plug the printer port dongle described in the printer dongle specification section to the Tricarb counters printer port, replacing the printer cable. With this dongle in place, a line printer is no longer necessary for operation.
