These settings are entered into the Tricarb counter software and are necessary to tell the software which data output format is to be used with each of the Tricarb counters protocols. Each of the 15 possible Tricarb counter protocols uses exactly one output format. The following output formats are available:
Plain: Writes the raw counter data through to the disk
Excel: Outputs a tab-delimited list which can be imported into spreadsheets
MultiCalc: Creates a MultiCalc input file using one channel
MultiCalc Dual: Creates a MultiCalc input file using two channels
Select the menu command Options|Output formats... to open a dialog box with drop-down boxes for all 15 counter protocols. For each protocol used in the counter, select one output format from the corresponding drop-down box.
